Frequently Asked Questions
What Vehicles Are Supported?
---
All GM vehicles. LS and LT are my specialty. I do support GM 3.6 and Ecotec engines as well. Dodge Hemi Gen III is supported also.
What is licensing and how much is it?
---
Licensing fees are required by HP Tuners for me to tune your vehicle’s ECU and/or TCM. These are separate from my tuning price and use a credit system. Credits cost $50 each. Most vehicles require 2–4 credits ($100-$200 total) Licensing is a one-time cost—you won’t pay again for future retunes.
Why do you tune in stages?
---
Over the course of the last 13 years tuning i would charge one standard fee. Other tuners would lowball my price, but provide inferior tunes. I realized over time that my "base calibrations" were better than than my competitors tunes. On the other side, I watched dyno shops pump out subpar tunes and charge more than I do. I created a higher tier for high horsepower cars that want more than just a dyno sheet. All 3 stages of my tuning will drive better, make similar power and be safer than my local competition.
